Wordpress Shortcode for Appointment Reasons

To simplify the integration of the calendar into WordPress, the Appointmind plugin supports shortcodes. Previously, users could insert the calendar's ID, which would then be embedded directly.

Customers now have the option to choose whether they want to book an appointment as a guest or as a registered user. In guest mode, no password is required, and you can specify which fields need to be filled out in guest mode.

Convert Guest Account into a Full Account

When customers set a new password for a guest account, the guest account is automatically converted into a full account. When setting the new password, customers receive an email with a confirmation link to verify ownership of the email address.

Notification when Moving an Appointment

If a customer moves an appointment from one employee's calendar to another employee's calendar, the original employee will now also receive an email notification.

Customers Can Take Over Existing Accounts

Customers who book an appointment with an email address that already has an account associated with it will receive an email with a confirmation link. By clicking on the link, the customer confirms that they own the email address, and the appointment is assigned to the existing account. The password set by the customer during the booking process is saved as the password for the new account, allowing the customer future access to the account.

Customize Appointment Reasons

There is now an editor for appointment reasons, allowing for formatting such as headers, paragraphs, and other formatting options.

Resend Appointment Notifications

Employees and administrators can manually resend appointment notifications to other employees via the appointment details. There is a dropdown menu below the appointment details for this purpose.

Appointment Confirmation by the Customer

With this optional feature, you can require your customers to confirm their appointments by clicking on a link in the email. For appointments not confirmed, you can specify when they should be automatically canceled. Both the customer and the employee receive a notification when the appointment is canceled.

Customer Appointment Details

In the form for customers to edit appointment details, the date, time, calendar, and appointment reason are now displayed. This gives customers a better overview of which appointment they are currently editing.
